Left the campground this morning and within 3 miles hit our last big hill of the trip. It was 8 miles up, averaged around 14% grade, and, at one point, hit 26.1%. Wow that was painful. But there were some good views along the way. We got to our next campground early and decided to do some sightseeing because rain was in the forecast for the next 2 days.
An alpine lake about half way up our climb.
Now about 3/4 of the way up the hill.
The campground provided us with tickets for free use of public transportation which was really great. We caught a bus to Interlaken and then a funicular ride to Harder Kulm for some terrific views over the valley.
At he top of Harder Kulm. Lake Thun in the backround.
Lake Brienz in the backround.
Jungfroujoch in the backround.

Gorgeous views!
